Scott Wade is a certified arborist & curator at Longwood Gardens, and is also the volunteer coordinator of the champion tree program with the Pennsylvania Forestry Association. Scott enjoys maintaining the register and discovering new trees – a champion is the largest of its kind in the state. He recently started to track down the remaining Penn Charter trees, as listed in the 1982 book, “Penn’s Woods.” A graduate of Penn State, Scott lives in Media, Pa with his family.
Scott Wade is author of the book, “Big trees of Pennsylvania.”
