April 4 Hazardous Waste Event Canceled

March 19, 2020-The first Chester County Household Hazardous Waste event, scheduled for April 4 in Phoenixville, has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 restrictions and Governor Wolf’s Declaration of Emergency Disaster. The public is encouraged to keep their unwanted household hazardous waste (such as oil paint, pesticides, pool chemicals, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries and other substances) until another event is announced. Check the Chester County Solid Waste Authority website chestercountyswa.org for more information.

Events in Philadelphia and Bucks County were also canceled for April 4.
