The third Chester County Household Hazardous Waste Event, scheduled for May 9th in Pottstown at Owen J. Roberts Middle School, as been cancelled due to the Covid-19 restrictions and Governor Wolf’s orders to keep schools closed. The public is encouraged to keep their unwanted household hazardous waste (such as oil paint, pesticides, pool chemicals, antifreeze rechargeable batteries and other substances) until another event is announced.
