Never in recent history have we been more concerned about our health. The connections between environmental health and our own personal health are often overlooked, misunderstood or downplayed. Dr. Maany will discuss how sustainable land use and habitat conservation benefits our health. Specifically, she will address various infectious diseases such as Lyme disease, West Nile virus, Covid-19, and more. She will also draw connections between environmental health and our mental well-being.
